As you all know, I have 3 active boys at home and one busy husband that I take care of on a daily basis.Ā We are involved in everything from academics, athletics, and in our church on a weekly basis.Ā Aside from the other million duties and hats I wear, my days are full and I don’t typically sit down until 10:00 at night.
I don’t have time to spend hours over the stove every night so, I am always looking for ways to cut down my dinner time prep and not sacrifice a great meal for my family.
I love No Yolks Noodles.Ā Mainly because, they simplify dinner time and are easy to incorporate into any meal. Plus, our family loves noodles and I make lots of recipes with them so, this is a fun way to spice up some traditional dishes.
No Yolks is a healthy egg noodle alternative, made from egg whites and has no cholesterol.Ā Most importantly, they are low in fat and sodium.Ā No Yolks can be used in a variety of ways.Ā They are not just for stroganoff or casseroles! So, here are some of the ways that I love to use them most.
Here are some of my favorite ways to use No Yolks Noodles:
1.Ā Soups.
I love a good, hearty soup during this time of year.Ā Yes, they are great in Chicken Noodle, but you can also try them in soups like Miso and French Onion.Ā These are great for boosting any plain soup that you would normally make.
This week I made a simple soup and my kids loved having a different noodle to enjoy in it.Ā These noodles are very kid friendly.
2.Ā Main Dish
I love to simply spice up my traditional spaghetti recipe, make enchilada noodles, or get super creative with meals like Sriracha Cheesy Noodles and Noodles with Kale and Walnut Pesto.Ā Last week, I made a lemon artichoke, chicken and noodle dish and my family loved it.
3.Ā Simple side dish.
You can prepare No Yolks Noodles in just minutes.Ā Sprinkle with salt, add some butter, and sprinkle them with parmesan cheese and you have a show-stopping side.Ā My kids could eat mac and cheese with every meal and this makes the dish a little more fun.
I have to admit growing up, I would eat anything that had cheese melted on top so, I think that might be hereditary.
I love these noodles because they are high quality, and always cook up smooth, firm and fluffy and stay that way in your favorite recipes.
No Yolks come in a variety of cuts so you can try all types of recipes including Broad, Extra Broad, Fine, Kluski, Dumplings, and now Stir-Fry.
