Day 3 of Disney Social Media Mom’s Conference was our last day on land, and our main day of conference sessions. We woke up pretty early and enjoyed our family breakfast, sponsored by Alamo. It was especially delicious with awesome character meets for my kids (and the kid in me).
General sessions were held from 8-12:30. In true Social Media Mom form, they were packed with so much goodness. There were giveaways, exclusive sneak peeks at upcoming movies, and introductions to many new parks and lands Disney’s creating in the very near future. My mind was blown!
We learned about a new Star Wars Land, a land completely dedicated to Frozen, beautiful attractions, and parks opening all over the world. There will even be hotels pulling you into experiences from the worlds of Marvel’s Avengers to Star Wars. Exciting new parade floats are also being created that will definitely shock you.
Every Disney movie you can imagine or character you completely love…there is a ride or attraction premiering soon.
Disney’s multimedia experts shared with us, first-hand, about growing our blogs, taking better photos, and search engine optimization. Learning from the pro’s at Disney was so invaluable and really inspirational. I loved it!
We were even able to see top-secret previews of multiple movies not even released. It was so secret, phones and computers had to be turned off. No recording allowed! It was really exciting to be a part of this. One feature I’m really excited about is Christopher Robin…releasing August 3, 2018.
From 12:30-2:30, we attended an expo where we had an amazing lunch, and connected with the sponsors of the conference. Here was our chance to make some relationships. I passed out business cards, and talked to multiple PR professionals, building future relationships.
Later in the afternoon, we were on our own. We could head to the parks and spend the rest of the day with our families. We wanted to take advantage of all of our fast passes during the conference so we headed to the busiest park of all: Disney’s Magic Kingdom. We had a ball. We enjoyed the parades, the food, all of the amazing rides & experiences, and ended the night with their spectacular fireworks show.
We went back to the resort to get some rest before we boarded the Disney Dream for the next part of our experience.
