Living with all boys means always thinking about food. What they are eating and what they are going to eat. Everything is about food. When my older two get home after school, they want to fill their bellies as quickly as possible. I love to provide them with healthy options, so that they don’t fill up on junk.
My kids love a sundae so I love the idea of replacing ice cream with creamy and delicious FAGE Total Greek yogurt. When I told them we were having yogurt sundaes, they loved the idea, and were excited about all the fun toppings they could choose from. Everyone chose a different combination, and loved customizing it to include their favorite fruits, etc.
I laid out blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, sunflower seeds, granola and honey. Feel free to add whatever you desire!
Next time we plan on adding some nuts, and dried fruits to the mix. Be creative, have fun, and enjoy a healthy snack!
For our yogurt bar, we tried out FAGE Total 5% and everyone loved it. The best part is that it is Non-GMO Project Verified, gluten-free, additive & preservative free. It also has no added sugar, and is rich in protein.
It’s only made with milk and live active yogurt cultures, and is a great source of calcium. I mean, could a parent even want more in a snack?! I feel great about giving it to them, and creating a yogurt bar just makes snack time more fun.
My boys absolutely loved this yogurt bar. We plan on using it for our next family movie night in.
This is indeed a healthy snack! I think I want to make for myself 🙂 Berries and yogurt is a great combination, I would add some honey to mine I like a little sweet!
I literally cannot wait for when I can start making snacks like these for my little one.
how yummy and delicious! I really love honey and fruit with my yogurt, and granola always adds a nice crunch!
I have never tried Fage yogurt before, but a yogurt bar with granola and berries sounds amazing right now! What a great, healthy alternative to more traditional movie night snacks. 🙂
