Lately, I’ve been more aware of the food I put in my body. My goals include eating less fast food, less fried foods, and focusing on more home cooked meals. However, with a very busy schedule, I don’t have lots of time to plan meals, but Fresh Grocer has really helped me stay healthy and eat more foods that are better for me.

So…I am sharing 4 ways that Fresh Grocer is helping me stay healthy this summer, while showcasing some of the delicious options they feature.
1. Fresh Sushi.
I am a huge fan of freshly prepared sushi. It is a satisfying way to enjoy natural cuisine without packing on too many extra calories. Fresh Grocer had several options, but I loved the brown rice California roll. In addition to sushi, they even offer Grab-n-Go meals such as Rotisserie Chicken and Hoagies prepared with fresh ingredients.
Lunch time is such a struggle for me sometimes. Usually, I end up buying something unhealthy to “save time”. These healthy grab-n-go choices are perfect for a quick and easy lunch any day of the week. They had so many options, and it tasted amazing.
I also grabbed some pre-sliced fresh fruit, and I had a complete healthy meal.
2. Hoagies Subs & Salads.
I love a tasty fresh hoagie. . You can easily order them at the deli kiosk at Fresh Grocer. They all have quality meat portions for protein and fresh toppings of your choice.
I can also choose from a variety of pre-made salads that taste fresh as well. These are great. I don’t have to stop somewhere for lunch during the week. I can also stack them in the refrigerator for the week ahead.
These are both great ideas that don’t require a lot of planning from me. More importantly, they keep me from buying anything fried throughout the week. Also, this tasted so much better!
3. The famous Fire Roasted Chicken
One of the things Fresh Grocer is known for is Fire Grilled Chicken. It is amazing! They offer a variety of flavors such as jerk, curry, and a house seasoned blend. You can pick up a whole or half to take home, making dinnertime easy. I tried the Curry, and it was ridiculously good! The chicken would pair easily with any sides you would make from scratch. Although, you can simplify dinner even more by grabbing some simple, fresh prepared hot and cold sides from the store. I paired this with Fresh Grocer’s power salad full of kale, berries and almonds.
Fresh Grocer offers a variety of meal kits, heat-and-serve entrées, catering service, beer and wine selections, and/or hoagie service. These help me simplify any planning while still getting many healthy, delicious options for my family and me.
4. Pre-Marinated Meats.
Anything that simplifies dinnertime is a major win for me. I picked up pre-marinated jerk chicken with peppers and onions from Fresh Grocer, and it was a hit with my family. You could throw it on your grill or bake it in the oven. The flavor combinations were amazing. We use our grill a lot in the summer, so…easy meats I can grab quickly are very helpful. They also offer marinated seafood, kabobs, and pre-cut veggies…perfect for grilling season!
