The Top 5 Restaurants in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania

Many of you know, I am the ultimate foodie.  I love cooking and eating out at great restaurants.  I want my food to look beautiful and taste even better.   I have tried many great restaurants in Harrisburg, PA.  However, these are my top 5 to visit for any occasion.  They are all beautiful restaurants with amazing decor and atmosphere.  Their presentation is over the top! The food is delicious and of great quality.   So, here are my top picks in no particular order:

1.  Harvest Seasonal Grill & Wine Bar

(2625 Brindle Dr, Harrisburg, PA 17110)

This beautiful restaurant specializes in farm to table food and has many menu items under 500 calories.   Their menu changes depending on what produce is in season.

Sautéed Spicy Thai Calamari & Organic Pork Potstickers

Carrot Cake & Chocolate Salted Caramel Mousse

2.  The Millworks

(340 Verbeke St, Harrisburg, PA 17102)

This restaurant is a gem in the city.  It features a rooftop biergarten, an on-site brewery and has a fabulous art gallery.

Home 231 menu features local farmers.  The items on the menu always line up with what is in season.  They also have beautiful outdoor seating with a great view.

4.  Café 1500

This American bistro is found in midtown and does not disappoint.  This modern restaurant specializes in bold flavors.

This restaurant features contemporary, rustic American dishes.  The decor is fantastic & gives you the feeling that you left Harrisburg and are out of town on vacation.  They work with local farmers to provide seasonal dishes.  They also feature an amazing brunch.
