I have made this Caramel Apple Crisp for years and it’s always a hit. We basically eat it for breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert. My mom made apple crisp for years growing up and it created so many amazing memories. So, I decided to take it up a notch and add caramel. This is the perfect addition to your holiday meals and menus and can be thrown together in 20 minutes! Bookmark and save this and let me know how you like it!

Ingredients:
Filling:
2-3 lbs of cored, sliced and peeled apples
3 tablespoons of brown sugar
2 teaspoons of lemon juice
1/2 cup flour
1 teaspoon of nutmeg
1 tablespoon of cinnamon
Topping:
1/2 cup flour
1/3 cup oats
2/3 cup brown sugar; packed
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 stick of butter; cut into pieces and chilled
1/2 stick of butter; quartered
1/2 cup of finely chopped pecans
Caramel topping
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350
- In a bowl, add all ingredients for the filling and mix well. Place in a baking dish.
- In a separate bowl mix all ingredients for topping. Mix cold butter in with hands until you have a crumbly mixture.
- Spread topping evenly over apples and add more butter on top.
- Bake at 350 for 20 minutes. Drizzle with caramel and enjoy!
