This Baked Spaghetti is so easy, so good and best of all so cheap! $10 and under cheap! With 3 growing boys that eat an insane amount of food, I am always looking for ways to save on meals. I will be sharing a variety of $10 and under recipes for any of you guys looking to tighten up your budget in the upcoming future!

I literally made this and 6 other people ate it and I still had leftovers. Throw a salad or veggie on the side and you are good to go. 

This is filling, you can even hide veggies like spinach in it to even make it healthier. There are a lot of loaded baked spaghetti recipes out there with cream cheese and other ingredients that are a little too much for me, but my motto is” if it’s not broke, why fix it?”

Baked Spaghetti

 

Ingredients: 

1 lb ground beef

1 box of spaghetti noodles

1 pepper; chopped

1 onion; diced

4 cloves of garlic; minced

1 tbsp salt, pepper, garlic powder and onion powder

1 tablespoon of Italian seasoning

1.5 jars of your favorite pasta sauce

1 bag of mozzarella cheese

1/2 bag of shredded sharp cheese

2 tablespoons of olive oil

Directions:

  1. Boil pasta in salted water.
  2. Add ground beef to pan, season and cook well
  3. Add garlic, onions and peppers and cook down. 
  4. Pour in pasta sauce and coat well.
  5. Layer in a casserole dish: pasta, sauce, cheese and repeat
  6. Top with Italian seasoning or parsley and bake at 375 for 15 minutes. Enjoy!
