After having 3 kids, you can imagine how many car seats we have gone through. The worst part is that you have to get a different one for each age as they grow. We never had an all-in-one seat that would work from infancy through the younger child years, but that would have saved a lot of time, headache and money!
Chicco makes this amazing seat called the Fit4 4-in-1 Convertible Car Seat. This seat will literally cover your child from birth to age 10!! It is easy to convert for your child’s age using the FitKit system, which is a series of easy-to-remove layers. It also has more safety features than other seats, so I can feel great about putting my child in it.

We are now in the booster age with our 6 year old, and I’m so impressed by the features that the Fit4 has that I haven’t seen in other seats.

It has a 10-position headrest to provide premium comfort and support for children from 4 to 100 pounds along with 9 recline positions. Probably one of my favorite features is the RideRight bubble levels that help guide you to know you installed the seat correctly for each stage.

I didn’t have to look up a bunch of instructions on how to adjust the seat for different stages, but could simply scan the QR code on the side of the Fit4 car seat to watch correct installation, stage transition help, setting up and securing your child guidance and even how to remove and wash the fabrics. Safety is usually our biggest concern as parents and this seat has Chicco DuoGuard® technology that provides a steel-reinforced frame with side-impact protection for the head and torso area with two layers of rigid shell and EPS energy absorbing foam.

I am not super impressed by most car seats as they seem to all do the same thing, but this one really goes above and beyond for parents and their children. If you have multiple kids in car seats it fits three across in most vehicles as well.  It is available in multiple colors as well!

** As a public service during Child Passenger Safety Week, parents are invited to join a free virtual car seat check with must-know safety tips on Facebook, hosted by Chicco Child Passenger Safety Technicians and The Car Seat Blog’s Kecia Healy.
