Notes
My local Giant Food Stores are partnering with Johnsonville to bring the spirit of Bratsgiving to our area. National Bratwurst Day, or Bratsgiving is August 16th. Johnsonville is encouraging fans to try a new flavor while supporting their local food bank. All you have to do is share a recipe or photo with the hashtag #Bratsgiving.Giant Food Stores (in Harrisburg) and Stop & Shop stores ( in Boston) are giving back in an amazing way. On every package of Johnsonville brats sold between August 11-18, .25 cents will go to the local food bank of that community. I have known people who have relied on their local food banks for their families so this is near and dear to my heart. Plus, our family truly loves eating brats so, I love that it benefits us as well as a great cause.National Bratwurst Day is a fun holiday to celebrate, this time of year. I love celebrating in ways that can help so many who are less fortunate in this world. One of my favorite weeknight meals is sausage, peppers & potatoes skillet. It’s easy and full of so many great flavors. You can use any of the bratwurst varieties, but I love this with Italian.
I’m a mom to 3 boys who is passionate about food, relationships, style and travel. If you love all of these things too, you are in the right place.
I’m so glad you are here!
