Enjoying Summer Solstice with Planet Oat

Summer Solstice may be one of my favorite days ever! It is June 21, and the longest day of the year. That means more sunshine, adventure, and more fun. There is nothing better than a long day where we get to enjoy more daylight.

We are excited to be at the beach on a family vacation for Summer Solstice. I’m not sure if there is any better way to enjoy the day! I love adding the vanilla oatmilk to my coffee, and enjoying my cereal with the original.

We plan on having a pretty laid back day where we enjoy being with friends and family. Heading to the beach is at the top of our list for the day. We will set up our umbrella, blankets, and just enjoy the sand and water throughout the morning.

With the day being longer, it’s a great time to also take the kids to the pool later in the afternoon. We usually wouldn’t do both in one day, but summer solstice is a great time to do so. We have a community pool pretty close to the beach house, and the kids want to go every day. So this is a great day to get the best of both worlds.

Summer Solstice is also a great time not to rush for meal times, even with kids. We can head to dinner later in the evening, or whenever time permits. We plan to eat at some of our favorite restaurants here at the beach. All I care about is eating soft shell crab, and I’m a happy camper.
