We love visiting Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom. This awesome theme park has attractions for every age, and so many fun things to do throughout the day. Our boys’ ages are 4, 10, and 12. They all love it here! I am excited to share with you 4 reasons Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom is a blast to visit, while giving you a sneak peek into the park.
1. The Roller Coasters
Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom has 7 thrilling roller coasters to enjoy. They range in variety from wooden classics to big steel and loops. There’s something for every type of roller coaster rider. My husband and oldest son, being true thrill seekers, love anything adventurous. They look for the “biggest & baddest” such as Steel Force, Talon, and Hydra the Revenge. My middle son is slightly more cautious. He has a lot of fun on standard coasters with no loops. There are some great options for that, including Wave Swinger, Thunderhawk and Wild Mouse.
2. Planet Snoopy.
This is such a great highlight of the park and one of my favorite areas. There is an entire section tailored to smaller children and their big imaginations. There is such a large variety of rides. My little preschooler was just in heaven! He rode trains on Snoopy’s Junction, drove a race car on PEANUTS™ 500, flew a plane on Flying Ace, and so much more.
There are even rides my middle son enjoyed that were also perfect for his size and tastes. Many of the rides like Snoopy’s Rocket Express and Woodstock Express, I could even ride with him.
3. The Food.
One of the best deals that Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom has to offer is their all-day dining plan. It’s a great value. We had so much delicious food and snacks throughout the day. They also offer souvenir cups. You can refill constantly (within 15 minute intervals) at any Coca-Cola Refresh Station, and it pays for itself rather quickly. We all enjoyed everything from pizza, burgers, chicken, and nachos. The quality of the food was great! We all ate to our hearts’ content.
4. The Water Park.
Wildwater Kingdom offered so much for our family to do. You can relax in the Wildwater River or ride thrilling water slides like Aqua Blast, Python Plunge, and Jumpin’ Jack Splash. We could stay in just that area all day. I love how it caters to those who just want to relax as well as those who want to just run wild all day, and it’s great to get to play in two parks for the price of one.
There are so many other amazing parts of this amusement park including Dinosaur Alive! For all those dinosaur lovers, this area will blow your mind.
We love to visit Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom. There are so many other amazing features to the park – our family has so much fun every time we visit.
