Review: Home Bistro

I love delivery meal services that simplify my life.  This past week I tried Home Bistro.  This company specializes in gourmet meals that are freshly made and naturally frozen.  They flash freeze their foods and send them right to your door.

The cool thing is that no membership is required but, you can just order the meals you want.

Each package includes a full meal (meat, 2 sides) with super simple instructions for each item.

Most of the heating instructions all include boiling a big pot of water and placing each packaged item in the water for a specified amount of time.  This made me skeptical at first, as I didn’t know how good chicken, salmon or pork would be prepared that way.  However, it turned out to have a fresh, steamed taste.

I enjoyed about half of the meals I tried.  However, I feel like this is a great option for those who are trying to get in shape and meal plan throughout the week.  All of the entrees tasted light and healthy but were still very filling.

I love that they offer a variety of different foods that I wouldn’t have thought up myself.  Each item comes with super simple instructions that can be prepared within minutes.

There were a few different items that were not my favorite so, my advice would be to purchase items you would normally like and maybe try one new thing for fun! Overall, I enjoyed the food offered from this company and felt that it was a big time-saver for a filling, gourmet meal! They constantly run really great specials and discounts!
