OVERNIGHT BREAKFAST OATS
This is such a simple, delicious recipe that you can throw together for any weekday morning.
- 1 container (5.3oz) yogurt (any flavor)
- 2 Tbsp quick cooking or old-fashioned oats
- 2 Tbsp crushed Cheerios
- 1/4 cup fresh fruit
- In a container, mix together yogurt, cereal and oats.
- Cover and refrigerate 8 hours , but no longer than 3 days before eating. Top with your favorite fruit.
One of our favorite cereals from the youngest to the oldest is Cheerios. Most days we eat Cheerios by themselves or add a sliced banana (my favorite) but, we like to try out many of their other recipes too. Cheerios have no artificial colors or flavors and are made with 100% whole grain oats that are rich in fiber and protein. One of our favorite recipes are Overnight Breakfast Oats. Throw your favorite fruit on top and it’ll be a hit in your home. This is seriously the easiest thing to put together and my kids love helping me make it. The night before, we throw a few ingredients in a container and it comes out delicious.
