Day 5 of the Disney Social Media Moms Conference began pretty early in the morning. I let my family sleep in and met some blogger friends for an early breakfast. Let me just take a second to tell you about the breakfast buffet at Disney Dream’s Cabana Restaurant. There are an insane amount of freshly prepared, tasty options! Anything you have ever imagined to eat for breakfast is available. You can also choose sit in one the ship’s beautiful restaurants for breakfast, but I loved the buffet option.
Since I attended conference sessions from 8-12:30, my family explored lovely Nassau, Bahamas. These conferences were nothing short of inspirational. We received more goodies, learned about Disney’s activities, destinations, and attractions around the world, and gained more information that would help us build our individual blogs and brands. Our speakers were amazing!
We even heard firsthand about the process of creating a show on Disney Jr. and speak with the creator of the new series, Muppet Babies. Also exciting…we were able watch a top-secret episode of the series before the previews even hit our TV stations.
Our sessions ended with a sneak peak at that night’s feature show, Beauty & the Beast. This is the most expensive production ever on a Disney Cruise. Seeing everything going into it was amazing! The anticipation for the show that night was overwhelming.
I really enjoyed hearing from the creator of HerUniverse, and her process for starting her business, pushing through various obstacles. As a business owner, this was so powerful and inspirational to witness. She has a great book available as well, and we all received copies.
Following the conference, I met my family for an amazing lunch. My favorite thing to eat is seafood so I was in heaven.
There were great Junket Opportunities during this time to get special behind-the-scenes looks, while chatting with the culinary staff, speakers from the conference, the Beauty and the Beast Show cast, and more.
We left the beautiful sights of Nassau around 5 and sailed on to Disney’s own exclusive island… “Castaway Cay.”
That night, we headed to dinner at the Royal Palace. The details of this restaurant were so beautiful. This restaurant was inspired by all the Disney Princesses and it truly felt that way. Every detail of the menu and food spectacular!
After this, we went to see the Beauty & The Beast show in the theater. It played twice that night. We were already hearing that viewers were shocked and amazed by the show. I had pretty high expectations and they were exceeded in every way!! My husband and I couldn’t stop saying how incredible the production was. We have been to multiple Broadway shows in NYC and this felt just like that!! We were just shocked, and loved every minute of it. I would love to see it again. The talent, the props, everything was amazing!

We heard about the infamous pirate night and fireworks off the ship so we were excited for what the rest of the night would hold.
We headed back to our room around 9pm, to find surprises on our beds and bandanas for the whole family.
We went to the deck where Pirate Night was in full swing. There were characters and decor everywhere. There was a performance by Jack Sparrow that was full of high energy, special effects, and stunts.
Then the beautiful fireworks took place. Fireworks off your ship in the middle of the ocean?! Yea, it was something we will never forget.

The night ended in a big dance party and 3 exhausted kids. We crashed. The ship was headed to Disney’s private island “Castaway Cay” and we couldn’t wait to spend the next day there.
Tomorrow was my favorite day of the entire trip, and I can’t wait to share it with you!!
