Dinner Thyme: Meals in 15 minutes or less!

This past week I tried Dinner Thyme and really enjoyed their service.  This is perfect for people who don’t have a lot of time to cut up various items and need to get dinner done in a hurry.

I cook A LOT during the week so, I am always looking for ways to simplify dinner and still get to try a variety of foods.  This is a great way to do that.

The recipe cards are simple and don’t include very many steps.  This company is different from the masses because they are not sending fresh groceries to you.  They actually send everything you need in “recipe packs.”  They have chefs that prepare the meal items in simple portions that can easily be thrown together.

I tried the Crab cakes and Arugula salad with Lemon dressing.  I was skeptical at first of the frozen packs but, ended up loving them.  The crab cakes tasted super fresh and had very little filler.  I would of paid a fortune for this taste and quality from a restaurant.  They were truly delicious and the arugula salad was a nice touch.

I also tried the Citrus Marinated Steak Tacos with Pico de Gallo.  The nice part about this is the meat was  already marinated.  That alone is half the battle in cooking.  My husband and kids absolutely loved this.

I also tried the Rocky Road Brownies.  I popped them in the microwave for a few seconds and they turned out soft and gooey.  They tasted fresh out of the oven.

Dinner Thyme offers a weekly subscription service that is perfect for 1 person or an entire family.  The variety of foods that they offer every week are extensive and include desert options.  Ingredients are simple and “readable” which is always important to me when serving my family dinner.  Both of these meals took me 10 minutes to make, which is definitely a record.  I would honestly recommend this service to anyone looking for a break from the hassle of dinner and wants some great food in a jiffy.
